The external façade was meticulously restored using traditional materials and techniques, returning the Rectory to its original character. Internally, the layout was thoughtfully reimagined to create a more functional and cohesive living space.
The original kitchen was repurposed as a practical utility room, while a classic Shaker-style kitchen was installed in the second reception room to better complement the home’s period features. The side window was redesigned and transformed into a door, maintaining the symmetry of the original fenestration.
A new loft conversion introduced an additional bedroom and bathroom, together with an open balcony overlooking the landing, enhancing both space and natural light. The entire property was redecorated in a carefully curated Farrow & Ball palette, blending period-appropriate tones with a refined, elegant finish.
The front garden was fully landscaped and is now elegantly flanked by yew trees, completing the transformation.
