Project Description

The external façade was re-rendered front and back, while the roof and rainwater goods were carefully overhauled. All original windows were restored to full working order, preserving the property’s period character. Internally, the layout was thoughtfully reimagined to create a more functional and cohesive living space.

The original kitchen was removed, and a side return extension added to form a spacious family kitchen and entertaining area. The basement was taken back to brick and lime-rendered to create a breathable, practical space. The reception rooms were fully refurbished, with new cornicing installed and original features sympathetically restored.

Upstairs, the existing bathroom was reconfigured to create a new bedroom with ensuite, while an additional bathroom was formed to the front of the property. A new loft conversion introduced a further bedroom with two skylight windows, enhancing both space and natural light. The entire property was redecorated in a carefully curated Farrow & Ball palette, blending period-appropriate tones with a refined, elegant finish.

The rear garden was laid with Indian sandstone, providing a generous and inviting outdoor entertaining area, completing the full transformation of this classic Victorian home.
